Moviefilein hangs with JPG from Samsung Phone

Trying to load the file below hangs TouchDesigner, version 2025.32280

Tried multiple files, all the same. It loads fine in 2025.32050

Maybe related to metadata, as removing metadata, or re-sizing without meta-data allows a load in 2025.32280. Mediainfo reports #4 images within (primary, thumbnail, gainmap, motionphoto)

Thank you for reporting this, it was indeed an issue with the Exif metadata reading. This is fixed in the next release.

Same issue with multiple jpg textures I use for a long time. For example this one :

Just to be sure @huck, which next release are you talking about? Because it happens also in recent 32440
