Moviefilein TOP to Trace SOP to Particle SOP

Hello everyone,

I am trying to input my video clip (.mp4) and export to the Trace TOP

But the image keeps shaking in the Trace SOP, and it consequently affects the image when I connect it to a Particle SOP.

Have I done something wrong between the TOP to SOP?

Hello,
Your Trace is not moving, its only the camera adapting to the points. If you uncheck the “adaptative zooming” in display option, the trace will stay still. (activate the Sop with the cross right bottom and then right-click)

If you want to disable “Adaptive Homing” globally, there is a preference in Edit > Preferences > Geometry you can turn off. I personally find it very annoying when the camera is wobbling around erratically like that, so its always off for me!
