Moving / deleting nodes efficiently

What is the best way to move / delete nodes around efficiently?

I’m a new user of TD and it’s really strange to have a node (current) that is always selected and will move around / get deleted with any multi-node selection I make.
I’ve been using TD for a month now and this behavior is really inconsistent with other node based software I used in the past, and I have a hard time getting used to it.

To move things around I always have to select a new node to be current, then do the multi-node selection and move / delete. Is there an easier way to do this that I might not be aware of?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi @rmri,

we do recommend using a 3-button mouse for ui interactions in TouchDesigner. R-Click window selecting will deselect the current operator and select all ops under the selection.

cheers
