Asked about shadows the guy who made it said:
“yes, each particle cast and receive shadows… …but there’s a lot of work to do on that side for better quality…”
and
“realtime screen space ambient occlusion is out since a while… just integrated and contributed into the MRE render engine (vvvv.org/contribution/mre-multipass-render-engine)”
hm? (don’t want to annoy company who just released a great new version of a great product mostly for free…)
