Multiple Audio Device In - Best Practices

I am wondering if there are any recommended best practices regarding multiple Audio Device In Chops. I currently use 3. One is in use constantly and are loaded/unloaded in scenes (using sceneChanger). They all use the same two audio channels. I did some test runs, and it seems to work fine, but I am wondering wether this is the best approach. Should I instead just use one constantly and get the data from that chop using something like chop-select for the dynamically loaded sub-patches?

Hi @sensormusik,

the recommendation would be to have shared device inputs outside of the scenes and select them in as required. This makes it easier to control and organize - this is especially true when dealing with devices that can only be opened once (Video Device Ins for example).
