i have no idea what might be causing the issue as i am unable to navigate the project. it just hangs when its open. i can see the nodes but nothing is running and then i get the blue circle of doom and i have to kill the TD process. its fine on TouchDesigner 2025.31550 though.

I wonder if this is related to my bug I posted today as well. I encountered a similar freeze which doesnt occur in other versions. Are you doing any MoveFileIn loads by chance?

Yes, if you could upload the .toe that would be great. Also if you can create a .dmp file using the Windows Task Manager (right click on the TouchDesigner process and choose ‘Create Dump File’, that will tell us where it’s hanging.
not really moviefilein but i have other external inputs like midi and audio.
the crash dump is around 6gb. Where is the best place to upload that? i guess not here…
You can send the crash dump to support@derivative.ca. If the file is too large to send as an attachment you can use a file sharing service such as Dropbox or OneDrive.
You won’t be able to email it. The file will get much smaller if you .zip it though, then you can use a file sharing service. If you don’t have access to one I can create a dropbox transfer link for you.
I asked about this earlier today. In my case, it was caused by my DMX out chops. Apparently there is a fix coming so maybe your specific case is also being sorted.
