I try to use the more powerful camera component. The one I have is version 0.21 by the way, is that the latest?
In any case what happens is that this camera component is more powerful and its great, but when I activate it, it clearly slows down my whole project, I go from 60fps to 25fps, how can I avoid that?

I think 0.24 was the most recently released version as of the 2021.15020 release of TouchDesigner. We did change the name at one point, so it’s now listed as ‘cameraViewport’ in the palette.
Thanks for the feedback on the performance. I’m surprised it would have that much impact on your network. When you middle-click on the camera component, what does it say for the cook times? My children CPU time hovers around 0.025ms, is yours a lot higher?
If that doesn’t show anything, you could try opening the performance monitor from the dialogs menu. If you hit analyze in that window and post a screenshot or save the text that might help diagnose the slowdown.

I can try to update to latest version to see if that makes a difference in performance, will also try your other suggestions and will report back
