I have an ever-growing .toe which has some existing Substance TOPs and PBR MATs that it’s rendering, and it’s working fine. When I add any new Substance TOPs and PBR MATs, it renders them fine, and I can save the file, no problem.
HOWEVER, when I close TD and open the saved file, it crashes on open until I remove those newly-added Substance TOPs and PBR MATs (I have to rename the file to CrashAutoSave.toe
because the automatically generated one is 0 bytes). When I make a new .toe and start putting Substance and PBRs into it, it saves/opens fine, so I’m unable to reproduce the issue with a fresh .toe.
Before I put in the time to clean up my .toe for easy sharing and reproducing of the issue (it’s a very location-specific project), is there any known issues I should look for? Like, what would cause newly added Substance/PBRs to crash TD, but existing ones work just fine?
