Hello,
I am new to touch designer and havent downloaded it yet. I would love to learn more about how to start the process of learning. Its been brought to my attention my current mac book air wont be able to process the software? My goal is to have the program control an LED wall 5x5 feet in size. Id like to project patterns onto the panel and have the patterns be interactive. So I will need a computer or tablet with a touch screen so the patterns can be manipulated with a finger. Can you please recommend to me what I need to get started with this including the tablet and processor etc? Thank you so much!

This is a search engine for TD content that’s been published to the web, there’s TONS of tutorials:
Good luck.
Before I start the tutorials, can someone recommend a computer with a touch screen that I can buy in order to use while I start learning?
Hi @nickyalice,
hardware recommendations are incredibly difficult not knowing your budget and how you want to use the computer otherwise.
What options have you looked at so far?
cheers
Markus
Budget, somewhat low. I would like a tablet with a touch screen to project some patterns onto a 5x5’ LED board. the goal is to have an interactive pattern someone can play with a manipulate with a touch screen which would be projected onto the led panel. Thank you very much
Feel free to go fetch a few options that are within yout budget and come back with the specs so people can be on-point.
Without knowing more, you will want to find something with a moderately powerful integrated GPU such as:
Intel processor with Intel Iris Xe series
AMD processor with Radeon 680M
AMD processor with Radeon 780M
It all depends on how your content will be generated, there’s lots of ways to waste resources even doing simple stuff
