No connection to Ableton with Ableton Link CHOP

I’m on TD build 2022.32120, Ableton 11.2.10 (Suite), on a Macbook Pro M1 Max 16 inch, MacOS Monterrey 12.6.3.

I’m running a minimal set up of a .toe file with only the Link Chop and a new Ableton session with Link enabled, and after enabling link in both the Chop and Ableton, changing the tempo in Ableton doesn’t change the tempo in the Chop

Updated to macOS Ventura 13.2.1 and this persists, along with ableton builds 2022.28040 and 2022.25370

If you enable status channels (on the output page of parameter window of Ableton Link CHOP):

What are the values of these status channels:
numpeers, linked, synced?

All of them show zero in all of the tests I did

ok so that means you don’t have a connection between TD and Ableton Link working.

check firewall and network settings, see here:

I was able to get a working link connection between Ableton and Bitwig (including seeing tempo shifts working in both directions), so it doesn’t seem to be an issue on the Ableton configuration side of things
