can you please make it so you can’t drag the performance output image with the mouse? This is the source of endless frustration for me. I know the answer is to not use Base comps but I see no reason for this feature anyway and I found a bug today where even if you convert a base comp to a container you still can drag the final output.
Hi James.
Can you post a sample tox file?
We thought we got rid of this behaviour, or at least made it ‘off’ by default.
Are you performing from a Window Component, or the Performance panel?
Cheers,
Rob.
It will take some time to put together an example. I’ll send it by email. Can you explain what “allow interaction” on the window comp is doing? I see it’s greyed out when the OP is a Comp but when the OP is a base the checkbox is active.
Oh I see.
When its grey its because you can interact with Panels by default.
In other cases, you can turn it on or off, to disallow interacting with contents of the view.
Is it turned off in your case? It should be.
Rob
yeah, allow interaction is disabled but I am still able to drag the output
It should be disabled in the case of Panel containers.
I think I’ll need to see an example to sort it out unfortunately, when you can.
Cheers
Rob.
thanks. I just sent an example system
Hi James.
(For anyone interested)
Your perform Window is pointing to /project1 which is a container.
Thats good.
But /project1 ‘Tile View’ is set to ‘Operator View’ on TOP ‘./out1’
In essence youre setting it up as a large TOP viewer (which you can slide around by default).
You should revert that parameter of ‘Tile View’ to its default setting of ‘Control Panel’
and setup the project1 width + height parameters as necessary.
