If I have a noise POP and I want to set an attribute with it the parameters grey out. It works correctly with add mode though. Is that something thats on the to-do or a bug?

If you expand the Output Attribute Scope parameter, you should be able to enable Override Automatic Attribute and select the correct number of components.
I agree—the Parameter Size should automatically set the same number of components by default. We will address this issue. Thanks!

FYI “dimensions” isn’t the right term here but I know what you mean. You are referring to the number of elements in a component - 1, 2, 3 or 4. The terminology we are moving to is “scalar attribute” for 1 element, and “vector attribute” for 2 3 and 4 elements. We will introduce that in the documentation.
