Nvidia Flex Solver with less than 2048 particles

Hello!

I’ve been having a couple of troubles lately with the Nvidia Flex Solver, but this one leaves me stumped. I’m trying to use the Nvidia Flex Solver following this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3HgBBCaqyg&t=348s

However, I’m interested in having the simulation have only a couple of hundreds of particles. When I follow the tutorial and set the max particles of my actor to anything less than 2048, the simulation seems to be broken with particles emitting from the edges of the collision box, slowly, and overall just glitching and not behaving accordingly. When I simply up the number of particles back to anything above 2048, the simulation works perfectly like in the tutorial.

Is there some kind of ratio/correlation with other parameters that I am unaware of?

Thank you everyone for your help!

That sounds like a bug to me – I’ve moved this post over to the Bugs category.

We’ll take a look into it.
