Nvidia Flow and external forces creating turbulence or localized vortices

Hi!

I’m currently using the nvidia flow CHOP and flow emitter COMP to simulate slow moving smoke and fog. I can move a second emitter around (set as a collider) to locally block or inhibit the fluid simulation but I would also like for this second collider to generate some localized vortices and leave trails as it moves through the smoke.

Is there any way to introduce external forces into the nvidia flow simulation as can be done when combining particle generators and optical flow for instance? If not feel free to suggest other ways to achieve a similar effect!
