Oculus output problem - 2D image not seen

Hi!
I have a problem with my VR setup. I have created a system where i render various 3d objects and output them as a single Out TOP (one for each eye).
Then I use some composite TOPs to blend these Out TOPs and feed them to the Oculus TOP in order to add some extra images/layers that I want to be in 2d and stay on a specific spot on my output. (image 1) Somtehing like a monitor thing where i output some numbers.

The problem is that even though on my desktop screen the final output seems ok (image 2), on my oculus rift i am not being able to see the 2d layer.
Only when i disable the Oculus rift TOP and the hourglass thing is seen on the oculus, there is a stuck image (not moving) of the 2d layer together with the 3d objects, on a strange perspective.

Any ideas?? thank you!

Hi @evankelos,

try moving it into the center and then see if it’s visible to you. From that point on move it to where you’d like it.

Generally my suggestion though would be to render the static image as a plane in 3d and move it via the oculus’ returned positions to a fixed spot in your view.

cheers

Thank you very much!
It worked by moving it in the middle and readjusting some translate/transform settings.
Suggestion for rendering in the 3d space noted for the future!

Cheers, I appreciate it.
