Oculus Rift DK2 and Oculus Rift CHOP

Does the current Oculus Rift CHOP support the new DK2 ?

Not yet, we are still waiting to get our new hardware to implement it.

The DK2 arrived last week and I’ve been working on this.

I am having issues with oculus rift chop,
what can bew the problem?

Only builds after 24240 have DK2 support. Here is an advance copy of the next official that contains DK2 support:

Consider it semi-experimental though.

It should be working fine. What issues are you facing?

I’m currently having issues with it just outputting black from the comp, the demo scene works fine…is there a requirement for the camera? as I’m running without it

Scrap that the demos on the wiki work fine and I can build from those

No, the positional tracking camera isn’t required. Not sure what piece is missing. Possibly the near/far planes arn’t correct for your scene?

Does the Oculus Rift COMP work only in commercial and pro TD?

I’ve installed the latest 088 version today, in the free mode, and the COMP didn’t work.
There was nothing inside it either…

The Oculus Rift CHOP was ok!

It should work with the non-commercial. There won’t be anything inside of it. It’s kind of like the Window COMP in that it just manages the Oculus Rift output.
What issue were you facing?

After adding the Oculus CHOP it worked!

Does anyone know a good reference on how to calculate cameras translation/rotation?
