I was just wondering if it would be possible to use openpose and a webcam instead of kinect(s) for realtime mapping people’s position not just in 2D space but in a room. It the Kinect you can link them together to do something like this - would it be possible with openpose and a simple webcam(or webcamsss) ? I guess what I would be looking for would be to take one point in the skeleton tracking - or even just one blob as a whole person, and get coordinates for them in 3D space (cartesian, whatever) In fact, forgetting that - how easy is it to use open pose and a webcam even in 2D (aka a single screen) with touch ? IS there a TOP for it like there is for the kinect and the leap or is there some serious faffing around involved ? Tried looking for a tutorial found some but nothing that exactly explained it - this looks amazing though :
