Optimisation: multiple Touch instances VS Engine Comp

Hi,

in a (one more) attempt to optimise my patch for a performance, I’m looking into loading my different scenes from external TOX, in either 2 different instances of Touch (+1 one master instance) or using engine Comp.

I’ve been experimenting with the 2 solutions to see what is more efficient and convenient, and was wondering if there’s been already some good comparaison made and a “go to” workflow which would optimize the performances as much as possible.

I’m also having trouble finding a way to use the midiMap within the engine Comp, and I would like to avoid to have to use the midiIn Chop and selects.

In general I would be curious to have feedback from people who went through the same path before in this kind of optimization quest :slight_smile:
