Option to change transparency of TOPs back to the OG grey

Ever since the POPs update the checkered background of TOPs where alpha = 0 has been turned into a much darker shade, almost black!

As someone who uses TOPs as storing data the darker alpha really trips me up, makes me feel like i multipled something wrong or set the incorrect pixel format. (especially 32bit mono + alpha vs 32bit mono)

pleaase if you could make a preference in the TOPs category where we can change it back to that og grey that would be awesome!!

cheers,

I second this.
As much as I understand the choice to darken it - I just prefer it the old way

me too… often the network becomes dense and it’s hard to distinguish this dark transparency when operators are small. I often call this transparency ā€œemptinessā€, and in the old version the chromaticity was much more obvious… it was very similar to the Photoshop I grew up with. This ā€˜empty space’ is essential in texture computing and I don’t know the reasons that led to this darkening, but my old eyes prefer a lighter gray. Thank you massive, I love you guys.

Thanks for the feedback. The color of the checkerboard isn’t currently configurable, but I’ve made a task to create a new setting for this.
