Outdoor body tracking with Orbbec Femto Mega I

Hi!

I currently have an installation working with my Kinect v1. There I’m using the Kinect CHOP for tracking information. I need to make the installation work outdoors in winter (only when it’s dark outside). So there will be (at some point) rain, snow and therefore also low temperature (under 0°C).
Does anyone have any experience on the performance of Kinect sensors at these temperatures? I mean of course I would need to keep the Kinect protected from rain/snow, but how is the performance when it’s cold? The datasheet states 5-35°C, but maybe it works also beyond (below) this range?

I also found the Orbbec Femto Mega I which is IP65. Any experience with this sensor? It seems like the Femto Mega is supported, I guess the Mega I will work as well in TD?
The Docs say that the Kinect Azure TOP doesn’t support the ethernet connection of the Femto Mega. Since I need the tracking info, I guess I will need the Orbbec TOP (for ethernet connection to the Mega I), but will it work together with the Azure CHOP then?

Looking forward to your experience reports and maybe recommendations!
