PBR not rendering

I am new to TouchDesigner and I am following tutorials and I cannot seem to get PBR renders to work, I keep getting a black silhouette regardless of lighting/environment lighting or the ambient occlusion settings. I have tried multiple environments and multiple PBR materials.

Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

At first glance - nothing seems off, could you post system specs ? Td version, os, gpu?
Also, can you upload the sample you have there ?

Apparently I cannot upload attachments as I am a new user but I have sent the file to somebody who opened it and it worked on their machine so the setup is ok. So maybe my laptop is the issue?

Oddly when I delete the environment light it kind of works. I can then see the material rendered on the surface but the lighting isn’t quite right.

My OS is Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7
2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
16Gb Memory
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB

Could you try the current version 2021.12380. There is a fix for lighting that seems to work for some Mac models. You might need to restart after installation (according to some user reports)

OK, I had updated but hadn’t restarted. Just tried this now with no change. :confused:

Hi I am having the same issue and running in TD version 2021.13610 on a Intel MacBook Pro. PBR textures seem to work fine with lights but not environmental lights. please let me know if there is any fix for this
