PBR Substance Top problem

Hello,

I have some problems with the Substance TOP in PBR. When I use the Phong material on my Geo, everything looks fine. However, when I switch to PBR with the Substance TOP (concrete texture), things go weird.

Here is the result with Phong:

And here is the result with PBR:

The unique points from the Facet SOP disappear, and a few other issues occur. I followed the tutorial from ‘Introduction to TouchDesigner - Ben Voigt’, but this problem persists. I suspect it might be due to differences between the tutorial version and my current version of TouchDesigner.

Can anyone help with this issue?

Hi @minoochang,

just from looking at the picture it’s hard to tell what is wrong. But the Render TOP has a warning on it - could you check what the warning is about (middle mouse click).

Might be easiest if you could share your file here.

Hi @minoochang,

as the warning states, you need to create Tangent Attributes on your geometry which can be done using the Attribute Create SOP and turning on the Compute Tangents parameter.
