This lets you retrieve 100 images via a search through Yahoo Pipes (using the component Imagescanner in the Palette). Then you can pick any one of the images, and this app makes a mosaic of that image using the full set of 100 images by matching hue, saturation and brightness.

Most of the project was made and adapted by Markus Heckmann, I just improved the HSV matching using CHOPs and added Imagescanner.

The matches are as good as the 100 images it gets for you, depending on the variety of HSV averages of each image. Click on the mosaic to get a close-up.

Thanks! This is a fun tool and a great learning resource, but I wasn’t really impressed by the speed with a bigger pool of source images!

I’m thinking Touch GPU approach is probably not the best suited here, looks like the bottleneck are the analyse and sample() in the constant.
