Placing a family conversion operator misses a letter

Wow I found something niche, here on Mac silicon (M2), 2025.31550

When I place an operator by dragging a connection and switching family (POP to DAT, TOP to CHOP) it writes the name of the operator as it should in the OP parameter field, but missing the first letter of the operator, resulting in it not working. Writing the missing letter enables the OP to find what it was supposed to find.

here is a capture:

Hello @Neurotypique

Appreciate the bug report. It’s a peculiar one! We’ll have a look.

Are you able to reproduce the bug in a new project? So far, I’ve only been able to replicate the issue using the file you shared. Just to confirm - was that file originally created with version 2025.31550?

Glad you’re reproducing the bug with my file I was not dreaming!

I don’t have the bug in new projects, might be something with the file then, I’ve never had this one ever on any OS

Hi @Neurotypique,

thanks for reporting this. Turns out this is happening when you are referencing operators in the root of TouchDesigner (/) and is a bug in the OP Create Dialog.

This will be fixed in a upcoming release.

Best
