Point Sprite shader and TouchDesigner FTE

Very new to TouchDesigner FTE here and just running through the video tutorials, ‘Session3 - Rendering the Particles’, it talks about a ‘Point Sprite’ shader which isn’t in the list, is this something that can be downloaded? Thanks

Hey, click the ‘Expose Expert Operators’ button on the upper right of the OP Create Dialog to make that node visible for creation.

Why is the default position ‘off’ for that button? As if one goes through the tutes it can be a bit confusing. Also note I would never have found that if not told Malcolm. (not sure if your a user or staff)

maybe the default should be ‘hide expert ops’ after all?

Not sure why you are say that? But better still add the node(s) needed for the tutorials in standard mode.

sorry, what I meant was that the expert ops should probably be exposed all the time and we can then choose to hide them if we find it all too overwhelming.
