pop update rate

Hi everyone, I’m just starting out…

I have a video input file with a low frame rate (5fps),
I convert it into POP, using TOP to,
Then I want to smooth out the transition between consecutive input frames, so I use feedback and math combine on the position and the color,
However, in the render, the camera movement still seems to be much more smooth than the movement of the particles, is there something like a POP update rate that is independent of the FPS in the render?

Hello @sednoid,

The POPs update rate is the toe fps, so the behavior you describe seems odd.
If you turn on interpolate frames on the movie file in TOP you should get smoothly varying movie file in TOP and TOP to POP without the need for the math combine and feedback I believe.

If you can share a small example that reproduces your issue otherwise that’s helpful.
