Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago, during the POPs call organized by Derivative, I briefly showcased some examples I’ve been working on for each of the POP operators. Time has been limited, so it took me longer than expected to complete them all. However, I believe the project has reached a stage where it’s useful enough to share, even if it’s not yet fully finished.
Creating examples that are both simple and engaging has been quite a challenge. I haven’t succeeded in all cases, but I’ll continue refining them along the way—hopefully with your feedback and suggestions!
You’ll notice that some nodes don’t have dedicated examples but are frequently used in others. For instance, Math Mix, Math Combine, and Sphere appear in various examples. The reason they don’t have standalone demonstrations is that I wanted to highlight them in a more creative way, but I haven’t quite figured that out yet.
Other nodes, like Projection, I still need to explore further, while some, like Ray, have proven trickier to keep both simple and interesting without requiring too much additional context. That said, my goal is to have examples for all nodes as soon as possible—hopefully within the next couple weeks or so.
You’ll notice that I’ve color-coded the available operators:
- Blue indicates that an example is available.
- Orange means an example still needs to be created.
- Black signifies that an example isn’t necessary for that node (e.g., Null).
This should make it easy to see which nodes have examples and which ones are still in progress.
A couple instructions:
- Press 1 to re-center and set the camera to default state.
- Click the show network button to invoke a pop-up with the network for a given example.
Here’s the link to the first release. I hope you find it useful:

Looking forward to hear from you!
