Possibility(?): Export time-based threedimensional data for rendering/lighting in other applications

Dear community,

Considering the attributes concept, are there possibilities to prepare POP data including spatial translation, rotation, scale and texture data including maps, normals, tangents of POP-(and perhaps additional TOP-information)materials uniformely across the timeline to export for rendering and lighting in another rendering application (i.e. blender)?

Taking into account interapplication workflow standards (i.e. fbx, usd), what are your perspectives? Looking forward to any response.

Hello,

This is on our roadmap indeed, we are still discussing internally but most likely USD and Alembic would be the first formats we support for exporting POPs with all their attributes for use in other software packages.

FBX doesn’t seem to get updates anymore so is lower on our list.
