Possible to create "docked" DAT OPs for a base COMP, like GLSL TOP has?

I’m building a custom COMP to control a PAR can light via DMX. It would be handy to have “docked” DATs like the GLSL TOP has, in order to have (a) quick access to params that might be easier to type freehand, like a list of base channels, and (b) the ability to point the COMP to a file that describes a given venue’s light setup.

Is this possible?

Any node can be docked to any other node. On the node you want to dock, RMB-click and select “Dock to…”, then select the node you want to dock it to with another simple click.

There are python options to do this if you are looking to do it programatically.
