Possible to place the parameter page at another location instead of top right corner?

Hi All, just started learning this amazing tool !

I was wondering if its possible to place the parameter page at another location instead of top right corner?

I know i can open up parameter page for the individual operators but would be nice to be able to change the location for the parameter dialogue to another location say bottom left corner instead

Hi @madchillunited,

there is currently no possibility to place the parameter dialog in a different location on a pane.
Not that this would be a solution but maybe an alternative, you can split your panes on the Pane Bar, change the pane type of one of the panes to “Parameters” and link the 2 panes again using the Pane Bar. Linking the two panes means that they follow each other’s selection, so in this setup, the parameter pane will always show the parameters of the selected operator in the other linked pane.

thank you and sorry for the late reply ! that seems like a pretty good solution , I will try it out.

Btw, is there a shortcut for the preference pop up for each of the operators ?

Hey @madchillunited,

if you mean bringing up a floating parameter dialog for a selected operator, there is no shortcut for that. For the general parametr dialog otherwise you can use p to show or hide it.

hey thanks I tried something like you’ve suggested by splitting the window and have the display on the right and the nodes on the left and now the parameters will just appear near the middle which easier for the eye on a bigger screen and a beginner
