Preferences Location

A quick disclaimer, I haven’t spent any significant time searching for this answer yet - I thought I’d first consult the hive mind to see if any of you good people have already tackled this issue.

We’re frequently setting up new installations on machines for gigs, galleries, permanent installations and the like. This sometimes can be as many as 20 machines. What then, is a programmer to do when he suddenly finds that each machine needs a few changes to the typical preferences configuration? Does anyone know where this file lives, and what format it happens to be in? I’d love to know if there’s a fast way to replace a single file after installation so I have a uniform set of preferences across all machines.

Better yet, I want to keep a copy of this file so for easy and uniform updates to preferences across lots of machines.

tl;dr
Where is the preferences dictionary that Touch uses at startup - and is this an external file?

It’s in C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Derivative\TouchDesigner088

It’s a .txt file that is a basic format of
namevalue

So fantastic.

Thank you Malcolm!

All hail .txt files!
