Problem with height map detail and desplacement

Hey, guys. I was inspired by one of the generative videos created by the extremely talented musician and visual designer Tokamu (don’t sleep on him, he is amazing :exploding_head: :boom: tokamu - Subside - YouTube), so I tried to design something similar.

I am relatively new to Touchdesigner, however, I did my best and for the most part, my attempt wasn’t that bad. Mostly because my setup was based on one of bileam tschepe’s tutorials (another creative artist) about height map integration without being an exact copy: Magic Spheres (Height Maps) – TouchDesigner Tutorial 13 - YouTube

However, I am not fully satisfied with the results so far. Compared to Tokamu’s work my version looks more or less low-polish, even when I am using 4k or 8k height maps. He stated himself on Reddit, that he only used high-density geometries with various textures (video inputs and CHOPS) as height maps and no point clouds. Additionally, my design looks kinda flat, even on maximum displacement scale. Any ideas on how to fix those issues?:
