Prompt to Save on Exit activated by default on 088

It happened to me several times to loose some work because instead of clicking on the Escape key in Perform Mode I clicked on the Close Window button. A small lack of attention with some consequences…

Looking into the Preferences Panel I found an option to activate the standard confirmation message you usually get when leaving an application with an unsaved project. This option is called “Prompt to Save on Exit”. Since on again, I really have the feeling to work in a safer environment

It appears nevertheless that this dialog box opens even when the project has not been modified (nobody’s perfect…).

It would be nice to have a smarter version of this confirmation window activated by default on 088.

Thanks a lot

Hi Werwarck.
Thats a great RFE.
Its been added to the list.
It used to work as requested way back, but once we augmented our software so the interface was driven by self-modifying networks, things got squirrely, but we plan to fix the detection again.
Cheers,
Rob.
