Python external module in a DAT

Is it not possible to “include” an external python module in a text DAT so that a .tox doesn’t depend on anything external?

I’m trying to understand why I can’t copy/paste a python module into a DAT and use it as an internal module as described here:

It can be done for simple libraries, so for your scenario probably so! I made a tutorial some time ago on the topic:
