I recently bought a HP Zbook 17" with the Quadro K5100 card to run live processing of video. However TouchDesigner gives me an error message saying the card or driver is not supported.
Try uninstalling any nvidia drivers installed on your machine, and then download the latest quadro mobile driver from their website.
Does your laptop also have graphics switching or similar?
Seems like this laptop may have optimus. As Elburz suggested I’d try downloading the latest drivers since newer optimus drivers may help. If not, try disabling optimus if the bios if you can.
Hi and thanks. It was an easy fix. In the NVIDA control panel there is an option to customize each program and tell TouchDesigner to use High performance processor.
