RealSense D435 Color image fine, but depth shows black

Very similar to this issue posted on 2020 Realsense D415 - Depth camera not showing up in TD but the difference is in the camera model (D435) and the firmware suggestion. When I initially downloaded the Intel SDK the firmware that came with it is 05.12, and the error message from TD asks for the firmware to be at least 05.15. So I upgraded it, and still nothing. Uninstalled, got the older version that’s recommended in that thread, also doesn’t work. What could be the problem for this? Depth stream shows just fine in the Intel SDK software.

Hey Malcolm, my TD is 2023.11340, and my OS is Win 10.

Hey, so far no luck reproducing this issue. I’m using a D435 on 2023.11340 and everything works fine. I also upgraded my firmware to 05.15 and things are still working well. Have you tried using different ports on your motherboard as one thing to try? Sometimes the USB bandwidth can be finicky.
