Realsense D455 as optical flow input

Hi all,

I’m trying to build an interactive floor projection similar to the workflow outlined in bileam tschepe’s (bileam tschepe (elekktronaut) - YouTube) “Interactive Particles – TouchDesigner + Kinect Tutorial 1” but using a realsense D455 as the tracking input…

I built the project just using a webcam into optical flow, now I am trying to switch over to using the realsense camera and was hoping to get some input from the community on how to go about this…

Should I be trying to get the realsense camera to work with optical flow or would this barking up the wrong tree? currently im getting closest to my desired result using the point cloud setting directly into the optical flow input of ParticlesGPU… the output of the point cloud appears to be similar to optical flow but inverted is there way to get this output to replicate optical flow?

any help, suggestions or links to similar posts or tutorial would be much appreciated…

cheers,
jimi
