Recording a rhythm

Hey everyone, I need some help.

I want to be able to record a rhythm that I play with my midi controller and loop it fitting to a song.
I’ve tried the Gesture CHOP but can’t get it to work properly, it’s behaving strangely, looping the data rather randomly. I’ve tried the Record and Trail CHOP but can’t get these to work either.

Any advice? I know this must be possible and I’ve heard of others doing this. Any help is appreciated! :slight_smile:

Hi @elekktronaut,

just to track this down: what was the setup you are using for the Gesture CHOP - it does sound like the right solution. The seemingly random looping is something I don’t quite see here on initial trials.
