Hi,
Regression: 2025.33070 = smooth. 2025.33230 = broken. Same HICCUPS.toe, same source @ 120 fps, same machine (AMD Ryzen 9 9950x - RTX4070ti)
I’m seeing a consistent playback issue on 2025.33230 / Windows with the minimal setup below. Same files play perfectly in Resolume Alley, VLC, and TD 2025.33070.
Setup: HICCUPS.toe — moviefileinTOP → nullTOP, sequential speed 1.0, Real-Time ON, timeline 120 fps, file 120 fps (confirmed via mediafileinfoDAT). Tested in Perform with V-Sync on/off.
Symptom: Obvious 1–2 frame hitch every ~12 seconds (≈1440 frames @ 120 fps). Not random. Also visible in moviefileoutTOP recordings played back in Alley. On 33230, Perform window shows persistent horizontal seam (lower portion shifted ~2–3 px left); absent on 33070.
Codecs tested (all smooth in Alley/VLC/33070, all hiccup in 33230):
- HEVC (original source @ 120 fps — primary)
- HAP
- ProRes 422 LT (Shutter Encoder, external)
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, driver 616.56, Windows 10.0.26200. GPU assignment / HAGS / NVIDIA control panel / AMD iGPU disable — all tried, no change. No TDR events in Event Viewer.
Tune tried: preread 60–120, frametimeoutstrat playback, hwdecode on/off, highperfread on/off, maxdecodecpus 8 — no change.
Attached zip contains:
HICCUPS.toe- HEVC source clip @ 120 fps (smooth in Alley)
- TD 33230
moviefileoutrecording (hiccups baked in)
Can you identify what changed between 33070 and 33230 in moviefilein/Perform playback?
Thanks,
