Render image selection

Hi,

I have a very simple question… ¿How can I select wich part of the image given by the camera I want to render? By default is the center part of the image but I need to be the bottom…

Thanks!

Hi @Tapani_kurokawa,

would you not just offset the camera for it to frame your desired section?
For camera effects, it is possible to shift the camera window to some extend on the “View” page of the Camera COMP by adjusting the Window X/Y parameters. Alternatively you could also increase the view angle and Crop out your desired are with the Render TOP’s Crop parameters on the “Crop” page.

Hi @snaut,

I´m trying to use the same camera setup for a poincloud and a obj in order to have two continuous images in projection. The top part would be the obj (wireframed) and the bottom the pointcloud.

I got it but in a way that I dont like too muhco because I´m rendering more pixels that I need.

It would be great if I can simply select wich part of the camera comp I want to render… ¿Is that making any sense?

Hi @Tapani_kurokawa,

you can do this with 2 Cameras, a Render TOP and a Render Pass TOP. For each camera you would adjust the Window X/Y parameter rendering the top part with cam1 and the bottom with cam2.
