Hi all, I have been working on a project for quite some time, the project includes a particlesGPU system. For our end presentation I have to render it in fisheye because it will be shown in a planetarium.
I tried making 6 camera’s all pointed in different direction from the same position to make into a cube map using the Cube Map TOP to then make into fisheye with the Projection TOP. However I can not make all the cameras line up perfectly. The top and bottom of the cube are just not aligned and moving the cameras only makes things worse. I also tried playing with the view settings of the cameras but again this doesn’t help one bit.
I also saw a method of using a render TOP and selecting Cube map of fisheye directly but for this you need Geo and I can’t, or at least haven’t found how, convert the particlesGPU to geo. So this actually is not an option.
Does anybody know how to either fix the cameras or a different approach to get a 180 degree view render? Or maybe how to get the ParticlesGPU in a geo or as a geo?
