Request: Audio Volume and Audio Output Device for Web Render

It would be great if we could set a couple of things for Web Render top:

• output audio device selection
• volume (or mute)

(unless there’s a way to do this using some audio chops that I’m unaware of)

From what I can tell, the Web Render TOP uses a default Audio Device Out. Could it be possible to specify one via a parameter? Or maybe access the audio as a CHOP?

FYI if you would like to specify audio output to a specific device using the webrendertop, you will need to append these flags to your web render tops options parameters; and then choose the output in your html/js workfloat: –disable-web-security --enable-media-stream --load-media-router-component-extension --enable-features=GlobalMediaControls --global-media-controls-seamless-transfer

Webrender TOP audio

I hope this is an easy question. I have a webrender TOP that I use for HTML graphics. Some have audio. How can I extract the audio from the webrender TOP to be used in the Video Device out audio CHOP?

Web render TOP not as good as it should

Hello I tried to grab a web RTC stream from https://obs.ninja/ with a web render TOP, but the video I get is not as smooth, and in general not good, as it is in the web browser. Do you think it’s a settings problem or a web render TOP limitation? Touchdesigner 2020.28110 non commercial. Is there a way to extract the audio from the web render TOP? Thanks Leonardo

I guess my question then is - any plans to revisit the ability to extract or redirect web render audio?

My use case is that we’re using obs.ninja for guests, and to filter their audio properly (ducking, compression, etc) we have to be able to redirect the audio to a virtual audio cable. We can do that via an obs.ninja url parameter, but it’s clunky, and it would be nice in cases where this is not possible to just use a setting on the Web Render top.
