RESOLVED: Help, can't recover from CrashAutoSave

Hi all,

TD crashed on me and produced a working CrashAutoSave. However, when I try to save that and reopen, the loading splash screen freezes at 99% and will not continue.

I tried saving to different file names and in different places, but it keeps happening. Also, a new CrashAutoSave is generated every time the splash freezes, so I tried loading and saving but on those, but the same thing happens.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Hi @afellman,

in this case, open the CrashAutoSave and start disabling components, save out and try to open regularly. This way you can check what is making it hang.

Wow it worked! I remembered which component I that caused the crash and deleted it. Then the save open fine. Thank you so much!!
