RESOLVED: Render picking not working on AMD Radeon PRO VII

Hello,

I have a permanent interactive installation recently launched at my clients showroom with Touch Designer app that uses renderpicking and AMD Radeon PRO VII GPU installed in workstation. That was the most convinient gpu setup to have 6xOUT for video wall matrix.

Unfortunaltely render picking does not work correctly with that GPU. Even in the multitouch example from pallette it only detects first connected geometry that is set pickable. So if you have more than few objects in the render TOP or renderselect TOP, renderpicking reports selecting any geometry as the first one

With any Nvidia GPU or AMD GPRO 6200 there was no issues only with AMD Radeon PRO VII (new hardware on the market)

In the final setup we had to use some workaround but it would be great if there would be solution for that bug. Is it possible to have a fix in any soon update ?

System - Windows 10
Touch version - 2020.20625
AMD drivers version - 20.10.25.03-200721a-357504C-RadeonProEnterprise

In September of last year the official build we released included some render-picking fixes for AMD and Intel GPUs. So we’d ask that try the current 2021.12380 build and tell us if the bug is still present.
Thanks

Yes that’s fixed now :+1:

Thank you Ben
