I have a new MacBook Pro M3 Max 64 GB RAM, 40 Core GPU.
When I open any of my files I did for learning on an older Intel Mac they lag and jump after a few seconds. Installed and reinstalled the latest version of TD for silicon a few times.
Hi @chuckgoldfinger, the M3 chips have been problematic. We purchased one just for testing, could you share your files here or if not email them to us a support@derivative.ca so we can reproduce your issues and find a fix?
I encounter the same issue, even with the default network, or even with no nodes at all. When in loop the timeline stalls every loop around the same frame number a couple of times, then plays back an uninterrupted loop and after that stalls on a different frame, repeating stalls around that same time again for a couple of times. With TD in the back and another application in focus (like the webbrowser i’m typing this in, while TD plays in the back) playback gets really choppy overall… M3 pro 18 Gb Sonoma 14.5. Hope this kind of information helps!
Added to that: I just did a recording of a website interaction (webbrowser from palette → Movie file out). During playback the TD interface was really choppy, however the recorded stream was uninterrupted and playing nicely.
