RFE: Ability to keep displays from turning off

I’m on Win 10, and there are some apps which prevent the displays from going to sleep while running (eg. media players). It would be useful if TD had such an ability, perhaps a checkbox in preferences “Prevent displays from turning off while running” or “Keep displays on while timeline is playing”.

I would like Windows to turn my displays off based on my power settings when no such apps are running, but I like it when those kinds of apps override my power settings and keep the display from turning off.

Would anyone else find this useful?

This would be great (especially in perform mode). I have once forgotten to change my display sleep settings before live show and it was super bad feeling seeing all outputs go dark towards the end :smile:

For some reason, wakelock python code was not working for me. I am working on a solution which wiggles the mouse so that windows is not getting in to sleep mode. I will share it soon.
