RFE: Display Attribute Name Overlays on POPs with inactive Viewer

I really like the way that output Attribute Names are displayed in the lower left corner of the viewer on POPs.

I know it might be kind of a departure from the way that inactive viewers currently look (with just a big abbreviated op class callout) but it might be kind of cool if in this mode they still showed the attribute names.

I think it would let you get a nice clean overview at the way information moves through the graph.

Thank you

Thanks for the suggestion @flowb. Your suggestion has been noted and will be discussed by our team.

If we put the (changed/new attribute name) text there then we have to always cook the node to determine the current text. This would often defeat the purpose of having the node viewers off, so I’m not in favor of doing that now, aside from being a precedent.

My assumption was that the text is something that is stored in the OP from the most recent cook. Do POPs cook just to get a list of the Attrs they will affect/create on their next actually useful cook?
