I always expect to be able to type in a floating text port window immediately after alt-tabbing to it, but it requires a mouse click in the window before it will accept input.
Same goes for a pane set to textport mode - often I’m typing out a long expression in the console, alt-tab to check syntax in browser alt-tab back and suddenly my typing is changing flags on nodes and hitting short cuts I never use and then I have to figure out how to get my pane out of the list view and back to the network editor 
Would be nice if the cursor remained active in the textport when the window comes back into focus.
