A snap option to get the rows/cols of the input to the table DAT would be very great (like in constant CHOP).
Having a path parameter in addition (or instead) of the wireinput would be even better. Maybe even with with wildcard matching, so you can snap from various tables easily (for new keyframe editor to quickly build a keyframe table from various other keyframe tables, though this would also require a build in sort by name/frame).
It should have two behaviors:
1: Any existing row will be kept if it’s also in the input table (but columns are added/deleted to match the input columns). If a row is not present in the input, it will be deleted. Any row which is in the input but not in the table will be inserted. All rows/cols are sorted so they match the order in the input.
A toggle to automatically trigger the snapping “on start” would be a nice feature and spare an extra “on start” text DAT. A build in “on change” monitor would be nifty as well, so if the reference table changes, it will automatically trigger the automatic matching …
Very useful to match the existence of local variables in a clone to the variables in the clone’s master …
2: Snap everything, replacing previous content
