RFE: twain acquire TOP and Printer TOP (DAT too?)

like the subject sez. It;s popped up in discussions but can’t remember if it got formed into a RFE.

one TOP for grabbing images via Twain from scanner or camera.
one TOP for sending an image straight to a printer
perhaps a DAT that prints strings to a printer too?

oh, and a OCR DAT that points to a TOP :slight_smile:
and a text-to-speech CHOP that points to a DAT
and a speech-to-text DAT that points to a CHOP (hey btw, what happened to that old houdini lip-syc CHOP? that was fun!)

I’d suggest you use the CPlusPlus TOP add features like this. I doubt they’ll become high enough priority to get added anytime soon by us.

yeah its all pretty do-able from the system command with exxisting programs. I use irfanview which can use command line arguments to do just about anything.
